Financial Stability
We are a solid company, built upon sound non borrowing principles and have been trading profitably since our inception in 1991.
In each country where we are located, for example; Germany (Polycote® Deutschland Gmbh) or America (Polycote® US LLC), each company runs as an individual subsidiary to the parent company (Polycote UK). Whilst supplying the same products and maintaining the same high levels of customer service and care, each operates as its own business and is wholly responsible for its own profitability.
No Polycote®Company has any borrowings whatsoever and none have ever operated on an overdraft.
Our Product Range
We have an entire range of specialist building maintenance products, many of which are totally unique. We cover every area from Floor Repairs that reach twice the strength of concrete in only 1hr, Floor Coatings that can be driven over in only 1hr, through to Roof Coatings that can be applied in the rain. We have thermoplastic and epoxy linemarking systems and are also the European distributor for the world renowned company - Fox Valley Systems, supplying Aerosol Linemarkers guaranteed for 10 years! We have Wall & Ceiling Cladding Systems, Flyscreens for doors and windows, PVC Strip Curtains. Through our engineering departments, we can provide Security Grilles, Security Spikes, Bollards, Cycle and Personnel Shelters - all made to your exact requirements.
Floor Repairs & Screeds: Our floor repairs and screeds come under the trade name Cretex. We have repairs that will cure twice the strength of concrete in two hours, repairs that are chemical, abrasion and impact resistant and repairs that can be poured. Our Cretex EP is now 19 years old, is still the best and probably always will be, the easy 1:1 mix means you can use as much or as little as you want, you don't have to waste the whole tub. Our Instantex can be driven on as soon as you walk away. As for screeds, our Cretex SL can be overcoated the next day, no more weeks of waiting for full cure. Our joint repairs come under the trade name Jointex, where we have Jointex XFH for use in only 1 hour, Jointex CSG for anything down to -40 degree centigrade conditions or our simple Jointex SP for an easy-to-use option. Lastly our grouts which come under the trade name Easiflow. These have all been very carefully formulated to give you the lasting solution you require.
Floor Preparation & Tools: Whether you just have a dusty floor or sticky, 'gooey,' gluey floor, we have the methods to prepare the floor. We also have many chemicals to ensure that your floor is prepared sufficiently and ready for one of our high specification floor coatings.
Floor Coatings: Most of our floor coatings come under the trade name of Flortex. We start with our Primers which we can specify for almost any suituation. They all have amazing capabilities such as our WD Primer which is packed with advanced technology adhesion promoters, or our OT Primer which will adhere to oily floors by drawing itself down into the floor towards the oil. After doing this, we can provide any flooring solution by supplying one of our high quality floor coatings; we have our PB Floor Paint which is a single pack paint, right the way through the scale past our best selling Flortex Professional now proven on over 1/2 million sq.m. nationwide right to our superbly decorative Decratex Flake which will provide you with a totally, tough and impervious floor. Not only is it highly decorative but it can also be made and ANY colour specification. Along with this, if you require the surface to have an element of slip resistance, this can be supplied aswell. To compliment our vast range of floor coatings, we have numerous coatings for driveways, sports pitches, block paving and swimming pools.
Linemarking Systems: Starting with the world renowned Fox Valley Linemarking system, which comes with a 10 year anti-clogging guarantee on the aerosols and a life time guarantee on the trolleys, we can supply a solution for any linemarking need. Our EPS linemarker allows two coats from one pot, having a working life of 18 hours yet a curing time of 2-4 hours once applied. If you would prefer a tape rather than a spray, we have a vast range of PVC or anti-slip tapes, or even an Aquasafe Tape that can be used where there will be water.
Non-slip Products & Tapes, Stair Treads & Nosings: If a non-slip tape or tread is required, we can, once again help with this, whether it needs to conformable, glow-in-the-dark or just standard. Once again, we can help with almost any stair tread requirement. These can be aluminum, gold anodised, flexible PVC, rigid PVCu, DDA compliant, red, blue, green, black, white, yello........ the choice is endless!!! Perhaps you just want to replace an old stair nosing, rather than one of the new DDA style ones, we have continued to supply the old style for these suituations. To enhance the range we also have our Duragrip Ramps range which can be easily transported for the elderly.
Interlocking Floor Tiles: Perhaps you would prefer a flooring system that you can take with you if you happen to move. Our Duralok or Decratile PVC floor tiling system will do this. Not only can it be easily moved, but it is also extremely easy to lay with no surface preparation and the ability to cover a 'multitude of sins.' To complete the system to a superb design, we have the ramped edge pieces meaning that you can finish the edge making it a very neat option. We also have a anti-static option where staticity has to be monitored and controlled.
Matting: For bare foot comfort, high wear, low cost, ultra tough, anti-fatigue, robust, aqua absorbent, spark resistant, food safe, sports capable, logo printed, horse usage..............matting; we can again come to the rescue. Our enormous range of brilliant mats can provide the answer to any of your matting wishes.
Safety: From speed control, to knucle guards, we can help you all the way, even if you are disabled. Our NEW improved PVC handrail system is a further compliment to our range.
Security: The Polycote Securi range includes the Police approved Seucridor where every installation is made to measure, the Securigate for extra protection or a movable barrier, and our bollard range to protect everything from corners to cars. We have advanced intruder coats and spikes, impact resistant Securiglaze and various security and privacy films.
Pest Control: Whether it is flys, mice, rats, starlings or sea gulls, Polycote has the remedy. We have fly screens, fly killers, bird netting, chimney guards, mice boxes, rat boxes..... If you have any needs for pest control, give us call and we will try and help.
Draught Control: To compliment our pest control section, we have introduced an array of brush and rubber strips, which come in almost any shape of size, bumper strips for the bottom of roller shutter doors and PVC strip curtains which are so easy to install. We can supply just one more strip of the full kit.
Wall & Ceiling Cladding: Our Panelite range takes care of the cladding at Polycote. We have tiles for the ceiling, panels for the walls or ceiling and all the profiles needed to make the cladding a superb tribute to your building. Our GRP option is extremely tough and highly resistant to abrasion, stains and chemicals. Or our Polypropylene for the cold store areas. Wall Coatings & Waterproofing: Our Hyglaze wall coatings provide a further accolade to our collection of products. Our Hyglaze ABC provides a high level of bacteriocidal protection, while our Hyglaze Supa-C has exemplary chemical resistance. For the external wall, our Wallflex or Stromcoat/Stormtext can fulfil the requirement. Or perhaps you need our Graffitex for the easy removal of Graffiti. Our waterproofing products can give a 100% solution, right from the floor with our Aquaguard to the wall with our Aquaplug and up the wall with our Aquatex.
Roof Coatings: Is it insulation, stopping a leaking roof in the rain, or the need to high flexibility. Well, if it is, guess what, we can help. Perhaps you just want to recoat and freshen up your roof with our Roof Tile Coat, prevent the heat build up in summer with our Solarflex, or a coating that will accept foot traffic with our Balcony coat, we are able to give the answer.
Personnel Shelters: Putting it simply, any size, shape, colour and style. With free installation (until 31.07.11) you can't go wrong. You could have a litter bin, cycle racks, or cigarette bins, and the whole lot can come from us so that the whole investment has continuity and is extrememly easy.

We have our own nationwide network of approved contractors, fully qualified and experienced professionals who are quick to respond, technically aware, proactive and flexible. Whether it be your floor that needs preparing, levelling and/or coating, security issues or a bespoke personnel/cycle shelter, we can provide the best specification tailored to your individual needs, and can install any such system or item nationwide.
Own Labour
Finally, almost all of our products have been manufactured for ease of use, requiring no specialist labour or equipment. We are able to partner you in all of your building maintenance requirements with the provision of a full technical back up service from skilled advisors, many of whom have had years of proven practical experience.
